The Vagner Mendonça-Whitehead Micro-grant Fund At NMC
This new venture supports BIPOC artists and scholars working with new media art, at any stage in their career.
100% of the funding goes to awardees (zero administration costs), through a peer review process by the New Media Caucus.
The goal is not at least match my initial US$1,000 donation for 2023, and fund two or more applications.

Fern Logan bipoc Photography Scholarship fund
Sue Felleman and I started this fund in honor of our friend and colleague Fern Logan, Professor Emerita of Photography at Southern Illinois University. Fern has dedicated many years of life to the craft and teaching of photography, and has impacted so many generations. Upon her retirement, we decided to continue her legacy through this annual fund.

Visual Arts Scholarship at Texas Woman’s University
Each year, through this fund, I support this scholarship fund at the Visual Arts Division at TWU. This institution is dear to my heart, as they provide incredible educational experience and community safe space for traditionally under-served student populations (women, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ students). I specifically designate my donation to BIPOC students, but you may designate your donation to a broader group of students.
